Better feed

Hi, I realized the protein for my quails chicks were too low, that was why I lost a couple chicks. Can someone recommend any quail feeds that have a high protein, and are crumbs? My chicks won’t eat anything other than crumbs.

I used Purina game bird starter. It’s 30% protein.

Purina game bird starter is good. Most turkey starters will work too. I use either Bar Ale or Hunt & Behrens game bird starter if I don't have Purina game bird starter. I don't know how common Bar Ale or Hunt & Behrens' are outside of my area, though.

Whichever brand you choose, just make sure it has at least 24% protein.
