Better roosters

Recently gave my rooster for adoption he was an outstanding rooster but he was cross with game and some of his offspring were coming out aggressive and would pick a lot on the other little ones
Yes, I have successfully integrated chicks from different ages into groups without them pecking
I have a barred rooster but he is selfish
(that should tell you enough)

Is there a way to make him a good rooster or they just are the way they are?

I want him to call his hens to eat, make nest, protect them, take them outside to eat, take care of the little ones not peck them, and be friendly with everyone. Also to check if the hen is yelling to come running to check.

Generally they just are what their genetics dictate. Gamefowl although in my experience the least human aggressive roosters generally do not do well with other roosters. How old is the barred rooster? As cockerels mature they tend to become more mellow with their hens.

About 8 months old he was always picked on when little he was a loner. His sibling died.
