Between Life and Death RP

(I have to go, I'll try to respond to your post as soon as I get back on BYC. Sorry.)

Jace was flying, streaming high above the clouds. He twisted and rolled, darting through clouds. He had been soaring the whole day away, trying to escape his fate. Up here, there was nothing to tempt him. He didn't mind killing animals, but hearing human screams battered at his mind. He closed his eyes for a second, thinking of the few he had killed.
I'm sorry, he told them.
Finally, his hunger made him set down in a forest. He could smell the lush scent of animals near by. He would hunt.

Mute heard branches break from behind her, she spun around only to see a elegant deer staring up at her in fear. She managed a smile and bowed before the the beautiful creature in pure respect. She decided to call it a day with her combat training, and began to climb a tall oak so that she could enjoy her surroundings as she hid within the safety of the trees. The deer grazed upon the grass under the tree of which Mute climbed.

Jace smelled deer. The tantalizing smell tormented him, driving him mad with hunger.
Jace stopped, biting his lip. He didn't wan to kill a deer, but he was so hungry...
Reluctantly, Jace followed the scent. His pace quickened, as he grew near.
Suddenly, a human scent twisted with the deer, until he couldn't tell which was which. What was a person doing here?

Mute spotted the fallen angel and jumped down from the branch that she stood on. She pointed her sword in the direction of Jace in a threatening sort of way and waited for him to state his business here. She knew that fallen angels can be dangerous to mess with but she didn't care at the least.

Jace grinned, as the human pointed a sword at him. "Might want to put that down," he said honestly. "I could kill you in about three seconds."

That comment made Mute angry at the fallen angel that she barely knew, she allowed that anger to shine through her eyes as she glared at Jace. Her aura radiated her irritation. In only a few seconds, she reached into her leather jacket to pull out a dagger, she threw the dagger at the fallen angel with all the force she had and it was just close enough to the target that it created a small wound on Jace's ear. Mute did all that just to show the power she had even though she was just a human, she didn't do it to kill. She sneered as she continued to hold the scimitar sword in his direction.

(This gave me an idea to make it so that Mute has some daggers as well...)

(Daggers are fine with me

Jace flinched at the knife and snarled as he felt it knick his ear. "Missed," he growled. Without warning, he uncoiled, launching himself at the human and grinning as she fell. "Three seconds," he whispered in her ear.
Despite himself, he felt his fangs grow at the scent of her blood. He was playing with fire, he knew. He would not let himself kill her.

Mute growled (she only doesn't say words), she shoved him away, and jumped up to a standing position. She pierced her last dagger through both Jace's shirt and the ground, and sprinted for her sword that went flying across the forest ground from the impact of the fallen angel launching himself at her.

Jace struggled to unpin his shirt from the ground, spitting curses after the woman.
As soon he was free, he sprinted after her, figuring to get the sword before she did.
