Between Life and Death RP

Mute pushed him away gently and rolled her eyes. I wish he'd just shut up she thought to herself, although she knew that she didn't really mean it, Mute crossed her arms and waited for him to eventually give back her sword.

(Sorry, just got back from school)

Jace looked at Mute, a self-satisfied smile curving his lips. "Want this back?" he asked, waving the sword around. He tossed it at the ground before Mute's feet. Then he took the rabbit and laid it carefully on the floor. Crouching next to the rabbit, he sat and waited.

(It's fine.)

Mute took the sword from the ground and leveled the blade, with the sharp tip of the sword pointed away from her, in front of her left eye. She observed the blade, keeping her other eye closed. She groaned, now look at this, there are scratches all over this and it's bented slintly to the right! she thought to herself. Mute returned her scimitar sword into the scabbard that was slung over her shoulder, and placed her daggers into the safe pockets that were stitched into the inner part of her jacket. After slightly waving her hand in goodbye, she began walking away.

Jace watched her leave, and suddenly felt a rush of loneliness consume him, He was Fallen, and so was shunned by pretty much every living thing in existence. Other Fallens normally decided to eat humans, so usually their difference got the best of them.
He truly was all alone.

Ransom bit his lip. "Wait?" he implored. "Please. It's just... I don't know what I'm supposed to do now."
He looked at the Guardian, waited for her to fly away. He was, after all, still a Fallen at heart.
Eris turned back. Her stunning eyes, filled with compassion, looked upon Ransom's clueless figure. She offered quietly "Come with me. If you want to be a Guardian."

Slowly, Ransom unfurled his wings and launched into the air, flying after the Guardian. What else could he do?
True to her word, he didn't feel the temptation anymore. Was he really a Guardian?

Eris didn't speak while she flew. She didn't understand why she was helping someone who had been so cruel to herZ

Ransom flew on, sneaking glances at the Guardian as he went. She was pretty, yes, but beyond that was a purity that radiated from within. He wondered wistfully if that same feeling shone from him, and decided probably not.

Eros stopped once they had flown to enormous heights, on top of a skyscraper. She folded her wings gracefully and sat down on the edge, indicating he should sit next to her.
