Between Life and Death RP

~Bryn choked back a flaming retort. "My parents are dead," she answered steadily, her eyes surveying him once more. Was there a possibility he could be an undercover Fallen? No, that was highly unlikely- there was absolutely no evidence of fangs lurking within his grin. "And so are my foster parents." Hold on- don't tell him about Fern just yet. You don't quite trust him.~

"I am so sorry." Seiri said frowning. "Life must be hard then. I could never imagine trying to live in the world on my own."~

~Bryn decided collectively after a long battle between her mind and heart that she trusted him. "I have a sister," she admitted finally. "I just don't know exactly where she's at right now."~

"Oh ok." Seiri said taking a step forwards. " Do you need help finding her?" Seiri wanted to help the girl, but didn't want to be so pushy, that she ran away.~

~Bryn eyed him warily for a long time, not speaking. He looks honest and he's a Guardian. But for the love of sneakers, I'm taking a complete stranger with me back to home. "Fine." Her amber eyes flamed in an unvoiced warning. "I'd like your help."~

"Awesome! Now, where do you think your sister would be?" Seiri was so excited. This would be his first time helping someone that wasn't about to be eaten by a fallen.~

~Bryn cocked an eyebrow at him. "Last time I saw her, she was home." Her lips twitched into a sheepish smirk that punctuated with a long sigh. "Then I ran away. Again."~

"Why would you want to run away? If you don't mind me asking." Seiri said with interest.~

~Bryn brushed a lock of hair behind her ear. "I have this fear," she admitted slowly, looking at her shoes, "of being closed in. I've had it ever since the apocalypse. I can't seem to get my subconscious to trust that there won't be a Reaper or Fallen hiding in every cabinet, in every closet. So I run."~

Claire couldn't bear his flattery. She was overwhelmed with the love she had never gotten before, and she was loving it. She let him caress her, savoring every moment with the only person who cared.

Pryrus held Claire for a few more minutes, no one moving. Then he took his hand and retrieved something out of his pocket. "Close your eyes Claire I have a surprise for you." Pryrus said playfully. (No he isn't proposing :lau... Unless you want him to, then that's fine.)

Claire closed them for a second, A smile on her face. She dreamt of all the things he could have in his pocket. She waited anxiously, for him to let her open her eyes.
