When i posted pictures with scripture and text, it was the wrong version.
Cubalaya, I never said it was the "wrong" version. I said I didn't recognize it and I asked which version it was. IIRC, YOU came on and apologized for it being "wrong," which I understood you to mean it wasn't the one you intended to post, and I think you said it was a FB paraphrase. That's how I remember it anyway, it wasn't that big a deal to me. I believe I thanked you (for taking the time to respond to me, although I probably did not say so), and as far as I was concerned, that was the end of it.

The fact that you bring it up now, weeks later, tells me it's not over in your mind, however, and that apparently I managed to offend you somehow. I certainly didn't mean to, so please let me apologize now and ask your forgiveness.

And I really wasn't explaining today's verse to you. I was merely commenting on it in what was intended to be a completely neutral way. I'm sorry if that offended you as well. Be blessed.

There are good versions of the bible and there are versions that actually change the real meaning. I never said KJV was the best but i feel like it is a very good translation and this is the one that i use. I have tried other versions but always come back to this one.

10-Bible-Verses-on-Joy-James-1_2-3-400x400.jpg

This is from Page 1 of this thread. When I was in Farmington, NM last week, my dearest friend in all the world quoted a portion of this verse several times, saying it was her "verse of the week." She said: "Count it ALL JOY." We encountered some trials and difficulties that week, including an unexpected death, and this verse gave us strength and encouragement. Glory to God!
