• For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?

• But they said, Not on the feast [day], lest there be an uproar among the people.
• Now when Jesus was in Bethany, in the house of Simon the leper,
• There came unto him a woman having an alabaster box of very precious ointment, and poured it on his head, as he sat [at meat].
• But when his disciples saw [it], they had indignation, saying, To what purpose [is] this waste?
• For this ointment might have been sold for much, and given to the poor.
• When Jesus understood [it], he said unto them, Why trouble ye the woman? for she hath wrought a good work upon me.
• For ye have the poor always with you; but me ye have not always.
• For in that she hath poured this ointment on my body, she did [it] for my burial.
• Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached in the whole world, [there] shall also this, that this woman hath done, be told for a memorial of her.

Luke 7:36-50

• And one of the Pharisees desired him that he would eat with him. And he went into the Pharisee's house, and sat down to meat.
• And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that [Jesus] sat at meat in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster box of ointment,

• There was a certain creditor which had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty.
• And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most?
• Simon answered and said, I suppose that [he], to whom he forgave most. And he said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged.
• And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped [them] with the hairs of her head.
• Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet.
• My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment.
• Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, [the same] loveth little.
• And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven.
• And they that sat at meat with him began to say within themselves, Who is this that forgiveth sins also?
• And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.

John 12:1-11

• Then Jesus six days before the passover came to Bethany, where Lazarus was which had been dead, whom he raised from the dead.
• There they made him a supper; and Martha served: but Lazarus was one of them that sat at the table with him.
• Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment.
• Then saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon's [son], which should betray him,
• Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor?
• This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein.
• Then said Jesus, Let her alone: against the day of my burying hath she kept this.

• Much people of the Jews therefore knew that he was there: and they came not for Jesus' sake only, but that they might see Lazarus also, whom he had raised from the dead.
• But the chief priests consulted that they might put Lazarus also to death;
• Because that by reason of him many of the Jews went away, and believed on Jesus.

Mary is my sister in the LORD! She didn't stay a virgin and isn't my mother. I love this verse that is quoting what Mary said about the LORD!

• And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord,
• And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.
• For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.
• For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy [is] his name.
• And his mercy [is] on them that fear him from generation to generation.
• He hath shewed strength with his arm; he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.
• He hath put down the mighty from [their] seats, and exalted them of low degree.
• He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away.
• He hath holpen his servant Israel, in remembrance of [his] mercy;
• As he spake to our fathers, to Abraham, and to his seed for ever.

Luke 1: 46-55

Did you guys know that Eve is actually called the mother of all living? I didn't know that until a few years ago!

And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.
Genesis 1:20

She remained a virgin her entire life. If you’re thinking about James, Joses…, they are explicitly named as children of the other Mary, wife of Clopas, in the crucifixion narratives, when the three Marys are at the foot of the cross. That makes them Jesus’ relatives (probably cousins), but not children of Jesus’ mother. This is all I’m going to say on the topic.

Matthew 1:23-25

• And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.

If Joseph wasn't ever going to "know" her TILL she had LORD JESUS it wouldn't have said that at all..

Mark 6:3-4

• Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him.
• But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house.

Matthew 13:55-58

• Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas?
• And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this [man] all these things?
• And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house.
• And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.

Mark 3: 31-35

• There came then his brethren and his mother, and, standing without, sent unto him, calling him.
• And the multitude sat about him, and they said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren without seek for thee.
