(I think I might not hate his music so much if he hadn't started his career too early, before his voice broke. He should have waited a year or two longer, THEN jumped into the spotlight, IMHO.)
God tells us to love our enemies - I don't hate Justin Bieber as a person. I'm glad that he follows the Lord and hopefully won't be one of those failures that child stars often turn into. What I DO HATE is the obsession with him. They have the tween girls clothing at Wal-Mart hanging next to the main aisle; I pass it and see that nearly all the shirts on a particular rack are either Justin Bieber or, more rarely, Hannah Montana. I mean, what's with that? Justin looks like a girl. I'm happy for his success. Not many boys get to have girls hanging on their every word, do they? But I despise the girls who believe that the next cute boy superstar is the kid to have a crush on.
ETA: I'm NOT saying I hate him - remember that! I'm saying I'm actually glad there's finally a singer out there who is not afraid to tell what he believes in.
