Hello! Is a Bielefelder rooster too big to be with a flock of standard sized hens? These are the breeds we have:

Easter Eggers
Buff orpingtons
Wyandottes (silver laced, golden laced, blue laced red)
Jersey Giants
Swedish Flower Hen
Black Star
Bielefelder

One of the silver laced wyandottes is pretty small, like 4-5 pounds. She is the smallest, a year old in about a month. The next smallest are a couple easter eggers and the Swedish Flower Hen (one of the EE and the SFH are still young, 7 weeks).

Thanks!

No he's not too big for your LF flock.
I have a 7.3 pound SF rooster who regularly mates a 4.5 pound Exchequer Leghorn and, thankfully infrequently, a 1.5 pound Sebright.
