I can confirm also, definitely a cockerel assuming it's strain is effectively autosexable. Some strains give off some confusing chicks, but I see no reason to question the gender personally

One more question regarding my Beilefelder roo: I purchased the smaller Chicken Guard door (10X12") before I knew I would have such a large adult bird. Will he fit through or will I need to purchase a larger door?

Too young to tell the breed for sure but it's a cockerel. I have Bielefelder chicks and also CCL chicks the same age. Both are auto sexing breeds and at that age, they look just alike. By the time they reach 4 or 5 weeks old you can tell which breed is which as the feathers begin to develop much more in line with their breed characteristics.
