I can confirm also, definitely a cockerel assuming it's strain is effectively autosexable. Some strains give off some confusing chicks, but I see no reason to question the gender personally

Too young to tell the breed for sure but it's a cockerel. I have Bielefelder chicks and also CCL chicks the same age. Both are auto sexing breeds and at that age, they look just alike. By the time they reach 4 or 5 weeks old you can tell which breed is which as the feathers begin to develop much more in line with their breed characteristics.Mystery chick at 9 days old. I think it's a Bielefelder roo... can anyone confirm?
