I most likely didn't have to wait for these because these are hatching egg's and not already in the process of becoming chick's where they are coming from. I will probably add a few of my flock's egg's in there with them, and mark & put a divider in the incubator to be able to tell what batch hatches. The egg's will all be brown, and I only ordered a dozen. My incubator can hold 22.

The legs and toes on Dad look really thick compared to my roo. Anyone else have ‘big legs’?McMurray usually will have their best predicted availability of breeds about 3 weeks out (incubation time of course). Check on Friday afternoons or Saturdays. I learned about Bielefelders from the 'free surprise chick' from Murray, and fell in love with them. He does have a fair bit of white in his wings and tail. His sons have a lot better color coverage, and more evenly spaced points on their combs. My next order of Bielefelders to out-cross will be from Cackle, I have it scheduled for mid-April.

Ya, I didn't think the referenced rooster's legs looked particularly big either, so I was wondering if I was misunderstanding big vs. normal legs in this breed. Or I just don't have a good eye for that.Leg's look normal to me.
According to the tracking number, they are now here and are to be delivered to me today.
