Bielefelder

[MOLOKAI MAMA]

I am re-entering raising chickens after I lost 7 to raccoons. I have 30 years experience at other locations, but never lost a hen. My new home is surrounded by water and raccoons are all over. So, I am putting up a 10' x 10' covered chain link dog kennel, with my lovely coop security inside. Since I have to start over, I'm looking at Bielefelder hens. Does anyone have experience with this breed?
