Hello,

I am new to the chicken raising world and I have 2 Bielefelders. I am trying to read online about their egg laying age and I am getting mixed information. One tells me they are early to develop and produce eggs. Another source days is at least 10 months before egg production begins. Does anyone have any experience raising these animals and what sort of time frame egg production began?

Mine just turned 6 months yesterday and 2 of my 4 have been laying for nearly 2 weeks. Ive heard they lay early and I've also heard it takes a long time.
