Isnt there already a social networking site called Beakbook but its for penguins or something?

Great point about them likely linking accounts like they did for email/youtube/facebook. I get tired of logging into my separate youtube account simply because my gmail account is on a separate account(on purpose).

I would hate to run into the same thing with BYC. More importantly, it would be very annoying if BYC posts I made linked to my facebook.

Hiding already because I say NO!!!!!

With all the problems Facebook has with privecy issues, why would some of us want this site to add to the BS that is Facebook. I have dropped facebook because of the ads and how they use our information. if you join with facebook, I may have to drop this awesome site just because I don't want more info about me just being sold for profit by a big corp. i really feel, there is something in it for the owners in this as well. Will this site be another that sells out it's people for personal gain????

Sorry, but that is how I feel.

I don't use facebook or it's competitors. I am happy with the social contacts I have on BYC and feel its more private and therefore "safe." I would think merging with Facebook would just bring about alot more spam/ jokers (for lack of a really nasty word) who just like to"ruffle feathers," Some think Big is better. but even the sun burns if you have too much of it. I wouldn't worry about everyone and his brother suddenly putting up chicken coops. ONLY truly sincere chicken lovers are going to stay with it - it can be a messy, expensive enterprise.
