I've been watching this; it's on in the background as I do house chores. Some of the people's comments are so weird, like when they were talking about how respectful eagles are of their dead, and how they mourn terribly for them. I guess they weren't watching as the parents were eating their dead eaglet before clearing it from the nest, which isn't behavior any chicken owner would be surprised or shocked by.

I'm kinda amazed there's still a population of coots around there with how many Jackie and Shadow bring to the nest! A lot of the other nests I watch aren't in areas of such abundance, so I like watching this one because I don't have to worry as much about the eaglets starving each other out or killing each other. That's always hard to watch.
