Please take pity on this guy! He needs a new home ASAP. He is in a bachelor pen with four other males, but he's not "crock pot" material if you are looking for a flock rooster with leadership traits. His behavior and the discipline he meets out with the other more unruly boys is why we call him The Bouncer. I have already chosen my two breeding males and he (and his pen-mates) is among the extras. The others just do not do what this guy does-he disciplines the others, breaks up sparring matches and generally shows a lot of potential. His comb is not a perfect upright 5 pointer (the French beret look is endearing) so he's not best for the show ring, but other than that, he is big, broad and has exemplary barring of his Exhibition type parents (Jamie Duckworth line). And his behavior has been excellent.
I have others who need to go ASAP, so I have others, but if I needed a third male, he'd be staying, has so much to commend him. Those can be "crock pot roosters", crock pot not included.

This guy is still needing a home with his own hens. He's been fabulous so far and is 21 weeks old. He doesn't deserve a crock pot (maybe a couple others do, but not him). No charge. I'd like to see him go where he is valued, but in any case, he does have to go.
