This is big bird our pet meat chicken he is 30 weeks old anyone know how long meat chickens have lived free range

There are some folks on here who have had meat breed birds live for quite awhile...it's all about not letting them gorge on food from what I understand. However many people do get attached to theirs and then it's hard to "pull the plug", so to speak, when they start losing mobility and their quality of life deteriorates.
