In florida my partners farm. He had snake trouble. Till this big fat chubby hugee 8 foot long indigo snake showed up. In a matter of months all snakes cleared out, and the fat indigo did not bug the birds. Shocking it was like a snake garbage pit.
He did not bug birds i read up they cant expand their body like the chicken/rat snakes so do not bother with animals that are wider than their head.
They love to eat long snakes because it fills them up they have a high metoblism.
Has anyone ran into these? they are rare and protected but good god they sure are an asset. Dont confuse them with racers or black rats.
