Big chicken Little quail eggs?

I have a broody egg laying hen and I was wondering if I could put some quail eggs under her? How many could I put under her? Thank.

Not a good idea. Besides carrying diseases that can kill quail chicken hens are way too big for quail eggs. The eggs of a quail were designed for 6-8 ounce birds and chickens are many times that. Also the chicks are so tiny they will get stepped on and crushed by the chicken. Others have tried it without much success.

I have seen people use bantams is that ok?
