Here we go, round 2! The others have under 2 weeks left, and I'm excited! We had ordered 12 ultra rare potluck eggs from Cackle. A few were broken in transit (poor Silkie, 55 Flowery, Black Copper Marans, and... either a B or an R labeled on the last egg, I couldn't tell). But thankfully with extras, we've still got 10! Even though these eggs are all here, I'm not setting them until early tomorrow so everything's had a good long chance to settle at room temp! But I wanted to start the hatch-along because I am impatient. 
I will be candling at days 7, 12, and 18 to see development, and clear out anything not developing. This is only our second time working on hatching eggs and our first is still in progress, so not TOO hopeful on a great hatching rate, but we sure will try!
To join in, just claim an egg to cheer on! Anything sweets/dessert-themed is a go! We will have yet another, third hatch-along coming up with *quite a few* eggs (47 surprises + 6 Ayam Cemani WHOOPS) but that will likely be Wednesday when it starts as the eggs will get here Tuesday! I was amazed at how big the Pita Pinta egg is. I was expecting the Liege Fighter to be the biggest. Nope! 
Learning something new every day. Can y'all tell I enjoy Turkens?
