Hello all!
Our male khaki campbell is the lone survivor of a dog attack. He's finally getting healed up, and we'll be ordering some ducklings. We've had no luck finding anyone older. He's inside right now since the empty pen is fairly traumatizing for him.
The plan is to put the ducklings in a (very) large tote with all the necessities (how we raised the others) and him in the same room as them, but without access. Any advice on how we can integrate them or at what age the ducklings will be safer? We hope hearing them in the meantime will cut down on his being so lonely. He's also quite the timid bird now.
