Big Eggs

So I went out to check on the girls and collect any eggs when I found this monster .

Not the greatest picture for size referance but lets just say I don't exactly have tiny dainty hands .

It's a huge egg , way bigger than any egg my girls have laid before . It won't even fit into an egg carton .

So lets see pic's of your biggest eggs .

My leghorn can make some monster eggs like that and none of the monster eggs have been double yokes. I had pictures on my camera phone but my phone broke so I don't have any right now. They were too big for the egg carton.

However I saw a shell-less egg for the 1st time this week and it freaked me out. I went out later to take a picture and it was gone. I'm assuming the chickens ate it.

I just got an egg with no shell, but the mebrane (my spellings not great) was strong!

So what are you doing with your big egg? sell it? eat it? Courious to know if its a double yolk.

At least two yolks maybe even three. Did you put it on a scale yet?
areyou going to incubate for the heck of it or eat it?

I have never seen a 3 yolk egg!

I think we're going to eat it . It weighed in at 104 grams . It was layed by a 13 month old ISA hen . I'm curious if it's a double yoke too , I guess I'll find out soon enough .
