Big End Up??? How Important????

MY GRANDDAUGHTER JUST PUT 27 EGGS IN THE INCUBATOR. i HAVE READ THAT THE BIG END OF THE EGG SHOULD BE HIGHER THAN SMALL END. WELL WHEN SHE PLACED THEM IN THE INCUBATOR THEY LAY FAIRLY FLAT.

SHOULD WE DO SOMETHING TO MAKE SURE THE BIG END IS HIGHER OR ARE WE OK WITH JUST LAYING EGGS AND TURNING 3 X PER DAY???

big end up is important if you are putting the eggs in a carton or a an automatic turner. If they are on their sides, they are fine.
