Big mean rooster keeps biting me

Everyone else is completely right—don’t endanger yourself with an animal that puts your health at risk. If you’re immunocompromised (I know I am), and a bird endangered my life? That’s where I draw the line.

A bite = NO.
A gentle peck = Might just mean they're hungry- I know my girls come to me for food and cuddles and pick at my flip flops or robe making quaint sounds- never skin.

Yeah I know everyone else is right, I'm just bad at wording things really (autistic). What I more meant to get across was I'm gonna try the methods they suggested before I think about culling the chicken is all

Yeah right now he's just biting and I can probably get him out of it since he started not even a week ago, I honestly think it may be more stress rather than hormones, and I would genuinely think about culling him but I'm the only one really going into the cage, and there are no children in our household, so I'm not too worried about that. This particular rooster used to genuinely come up to cuddle me which is why I think it's stress (Probably from moving outside permanently), so I'm just gonna work to get him out of the aggresive behavior for now.
Because he was cuddled as a chick, he has no respect for your personal space or for you, he won't get better but worse.
He sees you as a lower chicken that he needs to put in place

:goodpost: This. He thinks you are part of his flock. Some roosters do fine raised by people (so I’ve heard) but I have raised quite a few cockerels for my mom. The one that I brooded in the garage and raised with pullets his own age is a jerk. She has scars from him. I don’t know why she hasn’t culled him. The other two were raised by older hens-one by my broody hen and one by her hens from when we was a few weeks old. Both are good boys. I hope that anecdotal evidence helps you make a decision. If you decide to try to correct him, give him a limited number of chances (like 2) and then when he fails, don’t give him another. That way you will have the comfort of knowing you tried and you can chalk it up to a learning experience. Everyone has given you good advice that they have probably learned the hard way and they are trying to save you the trouble. And the pain. I still have a rooster scar myself. RIP Charlie 😆

I don’t think other methods will be effective, but my thoughts are with you. I really hope you can 'tame' a cock that is unruly at that age? geez.

I’m making pho with a chicken base—using most parts but removing the intestines. I keep the liver, heart, and kidneys, sauté them separately with warm spices like star anise, cinnamon, cloves, coriander seeds, bay leaf, and charred ginger to build flavor with teh carcass (and extra chicken parts). These spices give the broth its classic aroma. Then I pressure cook everything for 20 minutes.

I add in the offal extras after cleaning and more spices with vegetables and other meats. It’s not an ideal outcome for the bird—but it’s part of the process. But my rooster- never once pecked- definitely never bit me- still young but much older than yours.

Guys I did not cuddle the rooster I just said that it wanted me to, don't put words in my mouth I know cuddling chickens is bad

I will take all your advice and if all else comes to fail, I might cull it, but I was never not seeing y'alls warnings I literally said I would follow advice
Thank you to everyone who was nice to me, I do appreciate it, and nice or not I appreciate everyones insight and advice

I hope you are able to work it out with no injuries to you or anyone else. I wish you the best outcome. If you do manage to get him under control just always be vigilant and quickly discipline any future bad behavior.
