Big quail from big eggs?

I have a quail that lays unusually big eggs for quail eggs. I'm wondering if I save a bunch of those and hatch them, will they turn out bigger quail who will in turn lay bigger eggs? Or are the quails randomly laying bigger eggs every now and then?

FYI - I have 4 hens that just starting laying a little more regularly. Don't know which one is laying the big eggs.

In my experience the really large eggs don't hatch well. I have a few hens that lay large eggs, most turn out to be double Yolkers. I wish it was as easy as big egg = big bird, but it is not in my experience.
