Big Silkies

Hello, someone in another post mentioned that large silkies are not available in the US... why not? Is there a law or a reason? I am interested not in standard sizes, but much larger than bantam. I have an interest in raising silkies for the specialty Asian poultry market, and the bird does not have to be large, but not a dinky 2-3 lbs either...

There are no standard size Silkies in the US and they can no longer be shipped into the US. well, I guess they can be shipped, but they have to go through so much red tape, that by the time they got here, they wouldn't survive the trip. So, bantam is the only choice right now.
