An eye doctor posted to use over the counter neosporin combo on a q tip. I had some young chicks scratching their eyes because of black fly gnats from the rain. They wound up with eye swelling (but no bubbles) and the neosporin seemed to help. i also gave .25 cc of tylan 50 which seemed to help also.
She's doing good this morning, poop is normal and only one eye has any bubbles at all and much better. I'll stop by the feed store after I get out of my classroom for the last time for the antibiotics.
Have you ever wormed your birds? I know they will occasion ifnd a worm here and there while free ranging but digging them up for her is not something I would recommend as worms are hosts to that which will CAUSE worms > see here: http://www.merckvetmanual.com/mvm/index.jsp?cfile=htm/bc/202800.htm

"...Many field studies show that poultry maintained under free-range conditions may be heavily parasitized; therefore, control measures such as preventing infections or chemotherapy are likely to improve weight gain and egg production. In surveys of poultry raised under nonconfinement conditions throughout the world, an incidence of infection >80% is not uncommon. ...
