Please help me determine what may have caused this horrible death of my beautiful Lavendar Orpington. She raised up and screamed, she stood, her head flew back with her neck stretched out like I have never seen, then she collapsed and started flailing around on the bottom of
the crate, she got her head stuck in the bars, we freed her and then she turned over and died. Has anyone ever experienced anything like this? Here is a link to my original thread.....

When chickens die, they frequently will have seizure-like movements such as arching the neck, and trembling. That is what happens too, when one is butchered. I answered on your other thread on what to do to try and determine what was wrong. If the body is still available, ie, to “unbury“ her, you can still do the necropsy. If not, there is no way to know exactly.
