One of the girls laid this egg that made an ostrich egg look like a joke, its almost as big as a grapefruit and she is a NN who lays eggs the same egg size as my silkies, I hear its something called a double yolker, is this big of an egg bad?

Double yolkers are rare, so you should be happy! Blow out the contents, and save it if you want. That's what I would do!

No. The eggs aren't bad. But if you want to eat it, eat it soon as they don't last as long! Also, their shells are thinner.

Definitely rare... and, even more rare, if your claim of it being the size of a grapefruit is true.

EDIT: i was low-key exaggerating on the grapefruit thing, more like a lemon, but my neighbor grows big lemons, and that means a big lemon tree!
