Bigger eggs during heat?

The heat here in Texas in brutal, so egglaying is really off. But of the dozen or so eggs I get a day, more than usual are BIG and/or double yolks. It's as if the girls hold onto them as long as possible before laying, possibly hoping for cooler evening temps. Are you experiencing the same thing?

I have noticed my egss are getting smaller the hotter it gets.

I've noticed that mine are about the same size, but there are definitely fewer. My girls went from laying every day to every other or so. Stinky!
