Bigger eggs

My pulley just started laying eggs 3 days ago. I noticed they are getting slightly bigger. I'm wondering how long it takes for them to get larger to where I will see double Yolkers?

It depends on the breed and genetics for double yolkers. But you can recieve them at any time now.

My RSL started laying about three weeks ago. Her eggs are getting bigger but they're still not quite what I would call a medium size egg. She's laid two double yokers and both eggs where small. They were so cute!

It is common for Red Sexlinks to lay double yolkers. I know a person that raises chickens just for eggs and all of his are Red Sexlinks. He gets a double yolker from each one every day.

Cool. I am pretty excited for more eggs to come. I have 7 more girls that are still over a month away from laying but my red sexlinks are starting now.
