They lay pretty much every day, every once in a while they will take a day off, but right now I'm getting an egg a day from each of them AND they are molting; it's been nicer here in Mo the last few days - but it was really hot the last week or so before. I have to say I got hese from a family member because she was moving and selling out her whole flock - I had never even looked at or considered Brahmas. I am thrilled with them; their temperment, their laying ability, their friendliness. They are big and beautiful and tolerant birds. The rooster is well mannered ( but a begger ) and while he is protective of his girls he doesn't fight my younger males or act aggressively towards them. He LOVES my youngest son as well, and he's a hyper kiddo. They are just awesome birds!!!!
