I handle my 2 rooster chicks everyday. They are actually sweeter than the hens

Okay glad others agree with me. He has never attempted to hurt me or my kids in any way.

Roosters are not mean they just dont know whats a predator and whats not. So when people say their rooster is mean I just say or mabey you dont ever go out with your rooster without yelling at it or something.

The main reason roosters are mean is hormones. Another reason is that they may think of you as part of the flock and then treat you as part of their flock and try to show their dominance.

I agree, all “mean” animals deserve to live unless they are impossible to train, and I believe with a lot of time, work, patience and learning you can tame any animal.
