We only had one chick this spring so i picked up a couple chicks that were about her age to keep her company (she flippin' loves me, wants to snuggle in my hands or hop-fly around my lap all day - but i'm not a chicken & i work 50+ hours a week) but as soon as i introduced them, loose in the yard so they'd have pleanty of room to hash out who was the boss NICELY, she started eating like we were going to run out of feed (even though her feeder was full) i have NEVER seen her eat that much & i'm afraid she's going to impact her crop or worse.
should i be as worried as i am? i mean, she's my favorite chicken... could she eat herself into a bad situation?
