Biodegradeable Airsoft BBs

Do any of you have family members who shoot Airsoft guns on your land? My brother wants an Airsoft gun, and I'm worried about my chickens eating the BB's, even if we get the biodegradeable ones.

We have some in our yard from the neighbors shooting their airsoft guns and I've seen my chickens pick them up and then spit them back out. Or ignore them. When I first saw them, I spent some time trying to get them all picked up so I wouldn't have to worry about 'what if's'... hope this helps!
