I recently aquired a lightly used parrot size cage that needs just a little touch up on the top portion of it. Can I use spray paint or is there a special "type" I must use?

It's better to just leave it alone -- whatever paint you put on will easily come off, anyway, when the cage is occupied. The paint that's put onto parrot cages is baked-on. Anything you spray or apply with a brush won't be as firmly attached, and can easily be chipped off by a curious beak. But if you insist, you should look for baby-safe paint, so at least when it IS chipped off again, it won't be toxic.

:)

The old paint does have chips flaking in a few spots. That's what I want to repair. Thanks Rosa !
