Just received them in the mail. I ordered them online.
The capsules each contain 250 mg tetracycline hydrochloride
and the direction say to add contents of one capsule to 8 oz of the
only source of drinking water, make a fresh solution daily. Continue
treatment for 5 days.

I called the Thomas Labs just now and asked some questions.
They said to give plain fresh water for the rest of the day, after
they medicated water is consumed. They said to throw away the
eggs during the five days of treatment and for the next 14 days
after treatment is complete.

I have three chickens and they all drink from the same two quart bowl.
Do you think I should increase or decrease the dosage per bowl?
Give several bowls of medicated water each day before switching to plain
unmedicated water?

Should I empty a few capsules of probiotics into the same water?

Just want to provide a preventative course of antibiotics because one
of the hens is new and having loose poops.
Mostly I want to know if any other BYC members have actually used this product.
(It's got a photo of a parrot on the front of the bottle.)
