Sorry for your loss.

If they are cooped up and you have snow right now are they able to have access to grit for their digestion, just wanted to throw that out their for you.

I don't have an alternative grit option for them when they're cooped up. I will get one, I didn't think of that actually. I don't think they had any crop issues, I just don't know for sure.

We do have good ventilation. We made sure of that last year when we had to build an addition.

I thank everyone very very much for their suggestions etc. It's very disheartening to know that something happened to them and I don't know what.
