Hi guys, we currently have a bird flu warning in Scotland and have been advised to keep our girls inside for 30 days. I was looking for some advice on this.
We live in a very small village, our flock is now down to 2 due to a recent departure to chicken heaven. They have their own area to free range in the garden and a coop for nesting. We are unsure if we fall into the category of having to keep the ladies inside. We could potentially put them in a shed (cleared out first of course) for the 30 day period but am worried about their lack of day light and fresh air. We hoped we would be effected due to where we are on the east coast of Scotland. Any advice is greatly received...
