bird seed question

I know that chickens can have regular wild bird seed but can they also have pet bird seeds. sorry if this has been discussed already i searched but am at work and it's hard to search and read all the post since my desk in by the copy machine and i have lots of traffic and don't want to get caught by my boss they tease me enough about my chicks

thanks, i have just given wild bird seed a few times to my big girls(6 weeks old) but not to the younger ones
