Bird watching ducks!

My husband and I love Bird watching. We've begun to realize that Our ducks will spot large birds way before we do, sometimes as high as 2000 feet! This picture is from this morning when they spotted 15 pelicans about 2000 ft above! Has anyone else had Bird watching ducks?

Oh, yes, the whole flock will tilt their heads to check out what is overhead.

Helicopters, airplanes, eagles, crows, buzzards, hawks, osprey, great blue herons . . . . Once I got to see a few bald eagles fly overhead, because the ducks told me about them.
