Birds that can survive on their own?

I am plannign on gettin a snmall flock of game hens to run loose around the house but I think the game roosters will be too aggressive with my penned silkies....are there any other breeds that would work as for running a rooster with the game hens? I am not looking to raise chicks or wantin eggs but I want a rooster to run with them...what breeds are hardy and can normally manage free ranging?

they can survive with dogs, yotes, etc.....around? I mean being free 24/7

Unless you have nice herding dogs, I would not free range them alone 24/7.
Well trained herding dogs will protect your chickens from predators 24/7.
