birds wont stop hanging out around my house

well it's funny you mention that, I've used the squirtguns, and the hose, and they work well while I'm at home, very discouraging, however my birds seem to know when I'm not around and they take that opportunity everyday to crap all over where I like to walk, my dog is laying in chicken poop on our doormat right now, it's disgusting. Maybe If I kill some more birds and leave their heads hanging by little strings or something?!? Any more ideas?
On the plus side they are giving me some eggs which is great because if they weren't I would be much less likely to want to deal with poop walking.

I had this happen and my hubby made an enclosed run the next weekend! LOVE IT, should have done it earlier!
