The two on the top are blue bars although I heard that the baldheads white should not extend past the beak when you put their heads against their neck.

The Baby is a red bar i'm not sure if its recessisive or Ash Red though.

The red colored one shown on the nest, I have no idea what color it is.

It doesn't exactly look ash red because all the pics I've seen show a bird with a white base and red wings. This bird is blue based with red wings.

So you're saying they have too much white on their breasts? That's okay, I still like them

The male baldhead is lighter in color than the female, does that mean anything or is it just a variation to blue bar?

ok, so any guesses as to what i have there, as said by someone but i forget, and they usually have alot more red you cant see from the light of pic and the moulting were theyre pulling out the red feathers a lot more to try to nest. i broke down and separated them with a nest, as afraid the one would pluck himself bald trying to court the other one. the one with thick eye ring was mature i think when got, rest were still too young, but now its plucking itself parading around the corners and anything remotely like a nest it can conceive, while the other would sit/hunch/lay close/next and watch or coo, or try to get in corner or nest, till i kicked its butt out, and take the nest out (i thought they built flimsy cruddy nests? as these are like little elves made them).

Hi Everyone,
I am thinking about getting some rollers. How do you take care of them? Could I let them fly around or would hawks get them?

ETA: Could they live with a hen and some chicks?
