During high school, my oldest was the "tester" for the school's tech security. He'd get called out of class via the administrative staff to see if he could "break into" this or that, get passwords, etc. It was a hoot (and scary to see how lax stuff was).
Dang, what a flex! He's like a character from Scorpion😂

Since I was "the good kid," my siblings didn't really want me around. I cramped their style. What we had in common was our mom; after she passed (young; the day after she turned 60), we just didn't have much reason to interact. We've tried, a bit. My sister passed about 10 years ago, and my brother and I have had a few interactions, but not much. We were never close, and there just doesn't seem to be any framework to hang a relationship on.

My brother and sister were adopted (in 1957 and 1960, when it wasn't as common), and we have nothing in common biologically.

We actually have nothing in common, at all. We don't think the same way about things, don't feel the same way about things. Just the way it is and has always been.

When I read this, I think I should feel sad. But this is the ways it's always been, so I don't.
