Well we had Marys birthday party today and our two daughters and 6 grandkids showed up to say happy birthday.
Knowing Mary' love of chickens and that she was getting the Black Copper Marans decided to bring her a few more!

She in one day with no warning acquired 7 Cochin chicks and 4 guinie keets for me "natural tick control" "from one daughter" as well as 3 Barred Rocks "they know both Marys pullets turned out to be roos" and 5 what she thinks the lady said were Amerucanas??
As these are nothing we had planned on getting I was wondering if you could help determin if these are what they really are?
Out of these 8 my daughter wants 2 of the rocks and wich ever 2 Americaunas we do not take for the grand kids,

Any thought on if these are really Amerucanas and what sexes they might be?

They do look like Easter Eggers (EEs) (which most "Ameraucanas" really are). It's way too early to tell gender, however. Compared to many breeds, sexing EEs can be tricky. Post pictures in a couple of months and you should get some great input. Happy birthday to Mary!
