Birthday!

My chicks are turning 1 on Sunday, and I want to make them something special - food that is. Does anyone have ideas for extra special treats for chickens? I'm up for anything - I just want to celebrate their birthday with them!

Ours eat whatever we're eating. And steal it too. From hot dogs to chocolate cake... you have to be very protective of your food. But for Xmas we bake peanut butter covered with scratch into circular or candy-cane shaped "ornaments" and they gobble them up.

Mine will be a year old next week!

I make mine homemade flock blocks for special occasions, like Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc.
I'll search for the recipe and post it here.

Thier most favorite things here are:
any meat or anything starchy (rice, bread, pasta) or tomatoes, lettuce

I can't begin to tell you how annoying it is for you to change what was, on my part, a serious question.

Looking forward to making the flock block! They will be happy little hens. Lots of snow outside today, so I'm sure they're getting bored.
