Sunrise: Apperently, Molly had gotten ahold of some insta-molt and was going to put it in the nestboxes that the head hens used.
Susan: This was early spring, so it would be a very abnormal time to molt.
Sunrise: She wanted me to help her with it, and I regret missing it, but I was busy laying my first egg .
Susan: So this was around the time that about half of us were laying, and half wern't, but all three of those dominet hens were. And they each had a favorite nestbox. So Molly slipped some insta--molt into each of their favorite nestboxes.
Sunrise: this was around three in the afternoon, and already Auroura and Dotty had laid their eggs that day.
Susan: So Pecky sits down in the nestbox, lays her egg (she was still new at laying, so it took an hour, and then...
Sunrise: Suddenly, FEATHER TORNADO!
Susan: She jumped up all of the sudden because she felt something tickeling her, and all those loose feathers just came FLYING out.
Both: It was SOOO FUNNY!!!
