Snap: I started laying eggs again!!!!
Buttermilk: Mommy said I didn't have to today since I was at Poultry Club most of the day.
Bisquick: My excuse is that I'm molting. :3

Henny: The feed store isn't getting Welsummers this year and they don't have New Hampshires when we want them!
Midge: What do they have?
Henny: Australorps and orpingtons and brahmas for one week, and then "dekalb amber links" whatever those are, and more orpingtons and partridge rocks. Oh, and the have bantams in May.
Akira: They finally have bantams!

Louise: At least they have australorps.
Midge: I think dekalb amberlinks are sex-links. And dark brahmas are cool!
Audrey: Too bad though...I really wanted a New Hampshire to be my sister!
Penny: We could get a buff orpington and a dark brahma.

Akira: What about bantams?
Midge: They're straight run and we're not allowed to have roosters.
Akira: I was a straight run!
Louise: And we were going to get rid of you if turned out to be a roo.

Buttermilk: But, Nissley's (our local feed store) is taking chick orders!!! They have all of the breeds that we want in pullets.
Bisquick: Except for an EE. Instead they have an Ameraucana!!
Snap: Plus, she could even get them sooner than with Meyer!!!

Bisquick: Guys, we have to eat like ten pounds of food in the morning-

Bisquick: They'll eat Nissley feed for us so that we can get chicks!!
