Emily: Not so very long because she was reading it like she usually reads books, for hours at a time.
Anne: It was so exciting! There were stories about coop-school!
Agnes: And predators! *shudder*
Charlotte: And wind that was strong enough to tumble a pullet or Japanese Bantam!
Bessie: And parties and Christmas!
Agnes: It had everything a good story should have, even some mysteries.
Emily: And pranks, don't forget the pranks!
Charlotte: Best of all was getting to know about some of the chickens who aren't here anymore like Junior...but, it was so sad when they went away.
